The purpose of this post is to provide teaching of German language at undergraduate level (up to 12 hours per week) in the Department of German in the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultural Studies.
The appointee will join a vibrant language teaching team.
Duties include the development of innovative teaching materials, coordination of modules, assessment, support of students, outreach and extracurricular activities, and other administrative tasks connected to teaching language.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Discipline and will work closely with colleagues in the Department to develop the language curriculum and achieve outcomes in line with the standards of our institutional peers.
The role requires a native or near-native German speaker with significant experience and a specialization in teaching German as a Foreign Language (DaF).
