About the Role
Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with a non-profit organisation based in Dublin, Ireland, provides services for people who are homeless and at risk of homelessness.
The Supported Housing for Youth Team aims to provide care and support for young people experiencing homelessness, helping them complete a program and secure stable accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
* Work within the framework of the overall aims and objectives of the organisation
* Develop suitable care plans to prepare young people for independent living
* Support young people holistically, focusing on their practical self-care needs, health, budgeting, education, training, and domestic skills
* Advocate for residents' housing, social work, social welfare, education, training, and legal rights
* Liaise with and make referrals to relevant outside agencies
* Maintain accurate case records and statistics
Requirements
* Extensive experience working with young people in care or marginalised young people
* Third Level Qualification in social care or related field
* Experience of key-working clients or individual case-work
* Experience of managing challenging behaviour
* Fully qualified driver with access to own car
Salary and Contract Details
$50,000 - $60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Two-year fixed-term contract
