Job Title: Design Manager
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a team of design engineers and technicians within our growing fire protection engineering company. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for mentoring, training, and managing the design team to ensure all projects meet industry standards while driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the design team, overseeing multiple projects
* Ensure design compliance with industry regulations and standards
* Oversee Revit and BIM workflows to enhance efficiency
* Develop and implement design SOPs, manuals, and procedures
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members
* Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely design updates
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve design challenges
* Maintain LPCB standards and accreditation compliance
Requirements
* 5+ years of construction design experience
* Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows
* Minimum 2 years of team management experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
