Lead Software Engineer C++ (Gameplay)

The Lead Software Engineer is the driver of the technical development of a product who leads and develops the team in terms of architecture, quality, development culture, and engineering practices.
In each project we have the following areas:
1. Feature: develop events and mini-games from scratch (ranging from various competitions to mini-games like Merge)
2. Technical: optimization, technical stability support, SDK (reducing loading speed, memory consumption, etc.)
3. Match-3 and meta: working with graphics and basic mechanics of the game (adding new functionality, refactoring and optimization)
This role requires relocation from Russia and Belarus to one of our offices or remote work from other countries (except Russia and Belarus). Find out more .

Tasks
4. People management: responsible for development, hiring/firing, team evaluation
5. Development of processes within teams (both at the team level and at the level of the entire development of the project)
6. Producing: solving complex technical problems on projects, developing solution architecture and ensuring rapid implementation
7. Supervising the stability and quality of game software
8. Carrying out code review and design review
9. Programming and refactoring of game logic
Our stack
10. Languages: C++, and Lua and Python for single tasks
11. Graphics: OpenGL ES and Metal
12. Our own engine, similar to Unity or Unreal, which we are constantly developing ()
13. Advanced CI/CD, automated testing, code review processes and much more
Requirements
14. At least one year of experience managing a team of programmers (3+ people)
15. Experience in developing projects released in production
16. At least 3 years of experience in developing commercial projects in C++
Preferred
17. Confident knowledge of modern C++ 14/17 standards, as well as STL
18. Experience working with popular game engines (Unity, Unreal, Godot, Cocos2D, Defold, etc.)
19. Experience developing casual mobile games
