CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a National Sales Manager to join a well-known Insurance provider. We are seeking an experienced individual who will play a vital role in managing the company business development, growth of accounts, and marketing across Ireland. The candidate will report directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing for the UK & EU and will be responsible for the management and career development of a sales team of 5. Excellent communication and commercial awareness is essential for this position. Experience Demonstrable experience and success in the post of Senior Account Executive. Previous experience and success of sales, account management and business development within the field of health plans or in other financial services Proven ability to achieve own sales targets and sustain these over a period of time. Be able to demonstrate a developed understanding of dealing with customer complaints and seeing these through to satisfactory resolution, maintaining customer loyalty and retention. Experience of the full sales cycle from planning, securing the business, implementation of new accounts through to after sales service, review and ongoing account management. Deep understanding of the company and the health cash plans market. Willingness to visit other territories necessitating overnight stays as required. Qualifications A management qualification would be desirable but not essential. Competencies and attributes Commercial awareness, with an understanding of the business market, and good awareness of current affairs and what is going on in the world that may influence business success. Excellent communications skills across the whole business and with suppliers, with the ability to engage collaboratively with key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. Ability to negotiate and agree favourable terms with suppliers and 3rd parties and ensure compliance with agreed and challenging Service Levels Agreements. Sets goals for the team with the ability to prioritise workflow and allocate resources within the department as directed by the Head of Sales & Marketing.
