Health & Safety Trainer
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety trainer to join our construction team with the objective of identifying specific training needs and developing tailored programs across Ireland and Europe.
Job Description
This role involves designing and delivering effective training courses that uphold the highest Health and Safety standards, supporting our business in achieving a zero-injuries-and-incidents goal.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain training materials and programs to meet business objectives and educate employees on business standards.
* Manage administrative tasks such as writing reports and issuing certificates, collaborating with L&D and Health & Safety professionals.
* Collaborate with Learning and Development to develop training programs based on evolving business demands and individual project needs.
* Assist with enrollment for training, scheduling, and coordination of necessary resources to deliver training programs efficiently.
* Deliver high-quality training courses ensuring participants have an exceptional learning experience and gain skills to enhance health and safety performance.
* Coach employees at all levels through targeted training courses to ensure they understand Health and Safety expectations for their roles and responsibilities.
Experience:
* Effective and confident training provider, able to apply a range of training styles.
* 5 years' experience of training within the construction industry.
* Experience in delivering CITB Site Safety Plus courses.
* Experience in delivering UKATA Asbestos Awareness.
* Experience working with a Central Learning and Development function.
* NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety/Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) or equivalent.
* Train the Trainer (QQI Level 6) or equivalent.
* Tech / Grad IOSH, preferred.
