Responsibilities of the Collections Analyst Job include:
* Resolve and manage outstanding invoices and delinquent accounts
* Interact with sales support, customer service, and accounts receivable in reconciling accounts
* Serve as the critical issue contact point for customer payment disputes
* Make recommendations for write-offs, account adjustments and reconciliation
* Audit and analyse aging reports, tracking collection efforts
* Initiate outside collection approach for unresolved delinquent accounts
* Perform in-depth account reconciliation and collection of receivables
* Assess commercial risk for new customers and existing customers
* Resolve disputes related to billing/contracting which may require negotiations within customer’s organization
Requirements of the Collections Analyst Job:
* Proven track record in collections or a desire to learn more about credit and collections
* Experience in successfully balancing responsibilities while at the same time maximizing customer satisfaction
* Ability to build and maintain successful partnerships with Customers, Sales and other back office groups
* Efficient resolution of complex issues with little direct supervision
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* SAP knowledge would be a strong plus
