Grow here.AECOM are currently recruiting for a Principal Structural Engineer to join our Dublin office.This is a great opportunity for an experienced structural engineer with a proven track record in project delivery and assessment of existing structures.Some of the areas we specialise in are healthcare, data centres, commercial, hospitality, education and civic sectors, for both public and private clients.This is a role that will allow you to become involved with future construction projects across Dublin and worldwide locations What you'll do! Duties of the Principal Structural Engineer role include;Effectively control the commercial, managerial and technical aspects of projects or parts for which you are responsible.Sourcing opportunities and preparing fee proposals for submission to clients, including resources and programme.Leading a team of engineers and technicians designing building infrastructure schemesRequirements;Excellent knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures and structural principles.Undertake structural engineering projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate.Supervise work, ensuring that it is carried out to the appropriate technical standard and that it is managed to programme and budgetDeliver design solutions and assessment calculations, lead teams, and successfully manage projects.Have a solid track record of having worked on various structures projects, possibly as project leader on some, with experience of dealing directly with clients.Specific Requirements;Excellent knowledge of design in Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steelwork.Excellent working knowledge of the current Eurocodes and specifically Eurocode 2 & Eurocode 3.Excellent working knowledge of Structural Analysis Software, SCIA, TEKLA or similar software.Experience in the assessment of existing structures and their justification, as well as new build designs.The ability to effectively communicate your message to the team, senior management and represent AECOM professionally to clients and external bodies.Come grow with us:And let's not forget about the perks at AECOM.

Minimum Professional Qualifications:Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant disciplineChartered Engineer (CEng)Member of either the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE) and/or the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).Desirable attributes:Knowledge and experience of the local Dublin marketplace.At AECOM, we value everyone's unique contributions and perspectives.
