Project Manager - Construction
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in client-side project management for an extensive capital works programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client interests on capital major and minor works and maintenance programmes
* Provide advice on issue resolution, optimising estate value and delivering best value for money
* Monitor construction programme and cost plan to minimise impact of variations
* Chair and minute project review meetings
* Ensure smooth flow of information between parties and identify potential bottlenecks and delays
* Agree valuations and final accounts for contractors and consultants
* Monitor build and material quality and ensure contractual compliance
Requirements:
* Level 8 Degree in Engineering or Construction-related field
* Minimum 5 years' engineering experience with a contractor or consulting engineers
* Knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement methodologies
* Proven track record of completing projects successfully
* Current driving licence and vehicle
