Accountant Role in Ireland Client Expenses Team
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic Client Expenses team based in Limerick. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the payment of client expenses, calculation and review of tax returns, and provision of high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Paying client expenses, including Third Party, Management, Performance, and Directors Fees, according to Service Level Agreements.
2. Calculating and reviewing client tax returns, including PAYE/PRSI/VAT, for filing with the Irish Revenue Commissioners.
3. Delivering exceptional customer service through accurate and timely completion of tasks and requests for information.
4. Responding to client emails and resolving issues in a timely manner.
5. Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other business units.
6. Liaising with new clients and operational departments to onboard new clients effectively.
7. Performing tasks under supervision of defined processes or procedures and checking for errors.
8. Involvement in process improvement projects as required.
9. Assisting colleagues as needed.
10. Acting as an effective team member by imparting knowledge as appropriate.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in Financial Services, Fund administration, or Accounts Payable.
2. Good attention to detail.
3. Client Service Orientation.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent PC skills, especially MS Excel.
6. Ability to assess issues, identify solutions, and problem-solve in a timely basis.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet critical deadlines.
