Your Role
As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support, troubleshooting, and subject matter expertise for our European manufacturing site in Athenry. You will oversee the installation and commissioning of the site's EMS & BMS systems and support those systems on site post installation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project engineering on EMS/BMS systems - HVAC, lighting, security systems
* Design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment
* Support QA Validation with technical input into the design documents and assist in protocol execution
* Development of the asset management program/strategy
* Site SME for EMS/BMS to deliver
* Troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment issues and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions
* Operational monitoring of central support utilities including Water/HVAC/Compressed Air/Special Gases/Refrigeration Systems/BMS/EMS/Chilled Water/Humidifiers/DI Water
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or Master's degree and 0-2 years' equivalent experience
* Experience installing, servicing, or commissioning EMS/BMS systems is required
* Familiarization with BMS & EMS systems would be advantageous
* Proven experience of cGMP clean/grey utilities, & HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and/or controls
* Knowledge and experience of ISO14001, ISO50001, ISO55000
* Exposure to facilities equipment best-practice maintenance including CMMS and RCM
* Continuous Improvement and lean techniques
* Excellent communication/organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team
