MCS Group is delighted to announce an exclusive new opportunity for an experienced Technical Support Manager to join a growing international organisation on an interim basis to lead their highly successful support team.
This is a fixed term contract opportunity for 12 months with the opportunity to join the team permanently on completion.
(Flexible Hybrid - County Louth) The Role: We're looking for a people-first leader to guide and grow the support team.
In this role, you'll: Motivate and develop team members through coaching, one-on-ones, and product training Oversee performance metrics (ticket volumes, SLA adherence, resolution times) and drive continuous improvement Manage new hires, support onboarding, and ensure a positive, high-performing team culture Lead daily stand-ups, track progress, and remove blockers Prioritise issues, assign work, and keep a close eye on team workloads Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues Champion process improvements and automation opportunities Take a proactive, supportive approach to discipline and morale building The Person: As well as strong communication and exceptonal problem solving skills the following is key to success; Multi year experience leading a technical support team Experience with ticketing tools Solid understanding of ERP/CRM systems Strong prioritisation and task management skills Full right to work in Ireland (Stamp 4/EU Citizenship).
