An internationally recognised leader in Fire Protection Systems is seeking a skilled Revit Technician to join the team.
With international approval to Design, Manufacture, Install, Service & Commission to all standards, the company has award-winning expertise in Fire Sprinkler Protection, Foam Enhanced Fire Protection, Gas Protection, Firewater Mist Protection, Insert Gas Protection, and Special Hazard Fire Protection.
The Role: The Revit Technician will work closely with high-profile clients to produce detailed Revit drawings for fire protection sprinkler systems.
Supporting the design team, the role involves creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings for Electrical and Mechanical installation work, ensuring all documentation meets the highest quality standards.
Additionally, the technician will assist in updating and revising drawings based on feedback from the Operations and Installation teams, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring project deadlines and client expectations are met.
Essential Criteria: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Revit Technician role or a similar engineering position.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit .
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite .
Positive attitude towards learning and professional development.
Ability to adhere to defined procedures and assist others in standardising design processes.
Relevant qualification in Revit or Engineering (e.g., Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline).
Strong attention to detail and technical drawing skills.
Fluent in English .
Ability to work under pressure, meet project deadlines, and maintain adherence to process disciplines.
Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
Duties & Responsibilities: Design fire protection sprinkler systems for high-profile clients.
Produce Revit drawings for Electrical and Mechanical installation work.
Ensure all standards are met and drawings adhere to Quality Assurance (QA) procedures .
Create Hydraulic Calculations using industry-approved software.
Plan project programs and scheduling.
Prepare submittals.
Collaborate with the Operations and Installation teams to communicate, problem-solve, and update drawings as required.
Working Hours: Minimum working week of 37 hours .
Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Friday: 9:00 am - 3:45 pm
