ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
You will be part of a diverse and creative team that is continually striving to offer the best quality products and services that are continuously transforming air travel.
Cloud computing allows us to transform and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue further levels of innovation. As a Kubernetes Cloud Infrastructure Engineer/Architect at SITA, you will be engaged in various missions and assignments that will regularly test your ability to use Cloud technology and automation to tackle large-scale challenges.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Partner with product teams in requirements gathering, scope definition and feasibility assessment.
* Perform technical analysis of development requirements for the purpose of designing reusable and extensible solutions.
* Perform hands-on technical development: Design, Build, Test and Production implementation.
* Participate in design and feedback workshops to improve our services and quality of work.
* Assist with end-to-end resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units, and vendors.
* Create/Maintain development support artifacts including design documents, technical specifications, etc.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies to drive delivery of team commitments to SITA products and projects.
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
* 3-5 years of demonstrable experience with designing, deployment, and management of containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.
* Proficient knowledge in working with Azure cloud and Azure resources ie: Azure Defender, Azure Log Analytics/Azure Monitor, Azure Container Registry (ACR), AKS, RabbitMQ, Azure MySQL/MSSQL, and appropriate Azure CLI and API’s.
* Experience in scripting beyond basic scripts in Python, Bash, Powershell or equivalent, along with experience in developing and provisioning Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within Azure Cloud Platform..
* Use of DevOps tools and processes to create automated pipelines using CI/CD, GIT, Terraform, ADO or equivalent.
* Demonstrable experience with creation and input into Low Level Design solutions along with experience in gathering of requirements.
* Able to think outside the box, self-motivated, and possesses good trouble shooting skills.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to listen actively and adapt communication style to fit different audiences.
* Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards (especially as relates to K8/AKS).
* Windows or Linux sysadmin experience
* Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or relevant field.
NICE-TO-HAVE
* Basic knowledge in ArgoCD, Neuvector and SUSE Rancher is preferrable
* Kubernetes certifications a plus: CKA or CKAD
* Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and the Scrum Framework
