VANRATH have partnered with an industry leader in leisure that is rapidly expanding. The organisation is recruiting for an Operations Manager position.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any operations experienced individual to join a longstanding company that offers many routes for progression.
As an Operations Manager you will have an overall responsibility to lead the team and manage the centre according to company's shared values, standards, policies & procedures. You will make the day-to-day operational as well as strategic, long-term decisions to achieve your centre's objectives and overall company's vision.
€47,000 - €60,000 + 20% bonus (depending on experience) plus a fantastic benefits package and incredible progression opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Be an excellent example to your team in terms of customer service, ensure a pleasant and positive communication with all our members, effectively deal with any customer enquiries.
* Employee management - recruit staff and ensure appropriate learning and development for new and existing employees.
* Lead the talent development programme.
* Create succession plans, drive employee learning and development, ensure that all staff receive regular performance feedback.
* Co-ordinate your management team regarding all day-to-day activities on the site.
* Ensure the leisure centre operates to its best commercial potential.
* Work in conjunction with the support office team in delivering a strategic sales and marketing plans.
* Ensure the highest standards of health and safety at all times.
* You will also be responsible for the financial and budgetary aspects of your centre and you will ensure that your centre is reaching its optimum potential.
* You will be an ambassador and represent the company with a professional approach and attitude.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Educated to a degree level in relevant discipline (ideal).
* You have the experience of managing, growing, developing and supporting a team.
* You are a natural multi-tasker who enjoys the challenge of a fast-paced and varied environment.
* You have strong commercial awareness.
* A good understanding of Finance.
* Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
* A knowledge of health and safety and compliance regulations.
