Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a diverse range of transactional, advisory, and contentious matters within the construction industry.
* Drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke building and engineering contracts, development agreements, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and ancillary project documents.
* Providing robust and commercial legal advice on various construction issues, including contract interpretation, claims management, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
* Preparing legal submissions and representing clients in all types of dispute resolution processes, primarily adjudication, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration.
* Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver exceptional legal services.
* Staying up-to-date with legal developments in the construction industry and representing Beauchamps at industry events and seminars.
* Assisting with internal know-how and the development of internal legal precedents.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A Construction Solicitor with 0-2 years' PQE, demonstrating a strong interest in construction law and project/infrastructure development. Previous experience in construction law is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
* Strong academic record.
* Excellent technical and drafting skills.
* High level of commercial and business awareness.
* A proactive, measured, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
