About the Company
Our client is entering an exciting phase of growth and seeking experienced Pension Consultants to join their dynamic team. With a strong focus on business development in the construction sector, this role provides the opportunity to influence and drive their success.
Responsibilities
1. New Business Development:
* Achieve individual new business targets for Pensions within the construction sector.
* Develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns for existing and new clients.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry and professional pension network.
1. Client and Scheme Management:
* Oversee scheme design, restructuring exercises, and implementation of benefit structures.
* Deliver compelling sales pitches and staff presentations tailored to client needs.
2. Collaboration and Reporting:
* Work closely with sales support and marketing teams to maximize business development opportunities.
* Provide market insights to aid the development of innovative products and services.
* Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory, legal, and internal standards.
Required Skills
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role or sales-focused position.
* Or 5+ years of experience in a senior pension administration role.
* Demonstrated success in portfolio or client management.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Comprehensive understanding of pensions legislation and regulatory environments (e.g., IORP II and Auto Enrolment).
* Hold IIPM qualification or equivalent (QFA & RPA).
* Valid driving license required.
