Job Description
To work as part of an installations team in assembling and installing agricultural machinery, equipment and parts.
1. Carry out all physical maintenance and visual checks.
2. Carry out Preventative Maintenance as per schedule.
3. Attend to machinery breakdowns and diagnose and solve any mechanical failures.
4. Carry out repairs and upgrades as identified.
5. Have the ability to Arc Weld, assemble, install and maintain mechanical systems such as hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and fixtures.
6. Keep accurate records of testing, checks, observations and repairs carried out.
7. Strictly adhere to site Health & Safety regulations and policies.
Qualifications
* Have a minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience.
* Completion of a 4-year approved technical training programme in Maintenance or Mechanical Fitting.
* Have the ability to mechanically fault find and be proactive in resolving issues.
* Experience in Welding.
* Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
* Be quality and safety oriented.
* Must be able to use their own initiative and be flexible in working hours to meet deadlines.
