Job Title: SHEQ Advisor
Your new company is a specialist Civil Engineering contractor, operating primarily in the infrastructure, rail and renewable energy sectors with a continuously expanding portfolio of works based in County Tyrone.
Due to recent contract awards across NI & ROI, the company are expanding in size & profile and are now seeking a SHEQ Advisor to join their experienced HSEQ team.
Your Role:
As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing HSEQ on a range of small-medium sized civil engineering schemes from wind farms to sub-stations, rail & infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland and ROI, including ongoing civils frameworks with local, high-profile clients.
You will create and complete risk assessments & method statements alongside conducting site audits and inspections on a regular basis.
You will lead and deliver health & safety initiatives with the support of a strong HSEQ team and SHEQ Manager / Senior SHEQ Advisors to help raise awareness of risks and hazards.
Your Work Environment:
Your time throughout the week will be split between head office in Co. Tyrone and various sites across the province.
Requirements:
* You will have a previous track record working in a similar role within a construction environment.
* Previous civils experience is beneficial, but not essential.
* You'll demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISOs & 9001) throughout a live project.
* You must be qualified to NEBOSH level and have a minimum of a few years' experience within a SHEQ role.
