A 12-month remote contract opportunity exists for a Project Manager with expertise in Life Cycle Management within the Pharmaceutical sector.
The company seeks a Project Manager to oversee the scoping, planning, executing, and transitioning of assigned projects within the Value Chain Management organization of Product Management.
The position requires leading multiple cross-functional, complex projects prioritized by the Value Chain Leaders and Senior Leadership team across various Therapeutic Areas of Product Management.
The Project Manager serves as the primary contact and authority within Product Management for assigned projects, collaborating with Value Chain Leader(s) to execute projects in line with business and supply chain strategies to achieve financial and business-related results.
The Project Manager will lead specific LCM (Life Cycle Management) projects with possible technical transfer and portfolio optimization projects (delisting, divestment, & simplification) within the VCM PMO project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver on the project from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business and Supply Chain objectives.
* Act as a senior member of the Project Delivery Team and QA the projects led by the Project Manager/external parties to ensure sufficient quality and progress is being made.
* Set and track project milestones; manage any impact assessments and realignment of schedules.
* Manage expectations with key stakeholders across all business units.
* Effective communication at all levels from Executive to Team level; strong verbal and written skills required.
* Develop and maintain all necessary project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, budget management, and reporting.
* Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders and governance bodies.
Skills, Attributes & Experience:
* The ideal candidate has prior experience in leading large-scale initiatives in a fast-paced work environment with strong analytical ability and a background in the Supply Chain space.
* Relevant third-level qualification in Business, IT, or related discipline.
* Minimum of five years' experience leading large-scale initiatives as a Project Manager.
* Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, CAPM, etc.) is required.
* Strong people team and people management, communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
* Outcome-driven with a focus on benefits realization.
* Experienced and comfortable working across multiple projects within a Programme Management Office.
* Demonstrated coaching and influencing skills with the ability to motivate and bring people with you on the journey.
* Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and attention to detail.
