Our client is a long established, medium sized, progressive construction company and Main Contractor.
Over the last 30 years they have developed a reputation as experts in construction project management operating primarily in the greater Dublin area.
The range of projects include healthcare, residential, commercial & the refurbishment sectors.
Thyey are now recruiting a Site Manager to join their WHS team.
WHS Site Manager Role & Responsibilities: Our client carries out Deep Retrofit work on behalf of the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland), and has a large pipeline of Homes that require Retrofit.
They are operating on a Framework that runs until the end of 2027, with guaranteed work.
This client has operated on the WHS Framework for SEAI since 2008.
The WHS Site Manager is responsible for managing the Deep Retrofit works which include the following measures: External Wall Insulation and associated Scaffolding, Internal Wall Insulation (i.
Plumbing, Heating and Controls upgrades, Attic and Cavity Wall Insulation, Associated Ventilation Measures and Air Tightness Testing.
Training & Mentoring can be provided from experienced staff in all aspects of the Scheme, to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
The WHS Site Manager will work alongside 3 other experienced WHS Site Managers, and report directly to the WHS Project Manager.
Full back up from clients Head Office Team provided - WHS Office Administrators, Purchasing Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Safety Manager, Quality Manager, and Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a Team in conjunction with the clients other Office and Site based staff, the Direct WHS Team members, and Subcontractors in order to achieve project success.
* Liaising with Homeowners to ensure they are kept informed throughout the works progress.
* Liaise with Safety Manager and Safety Auditor to ensure all safety systems are in place and abided by site staff.
Qualification & Education Requirements:
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Being open to learning on the job.
Mentoring can be provided by client.
* Computer literacy and good administration skills are essential to this role.
Industry experience working on either Deep Retrofit or the SEAIs WHS scheme would be advantageous, - Ability to work as part of a Team is essential.
