Cpl Healthcare is partnering with a client that provides innovative and comprehensive multidisciplinary team mental health inpatient services for Dublin North Central. We are recruiting a Chief II Pharmacist to lead their pharmacy team.
The Role
As the Chief II Pharmacist, you will oversee the pharmacy team's provision of comprehensive pharmacy services and lead service development initiatives as required. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing pharmacy services across the hospital, including dispensary, ward-based clinical services, medicines information services, outpatient services, and clinics.
* Offering expert advice on medicine use and procurement to medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff.
* Maintaining quality assurance, risk management, and safety protocols.
* Leading data management, audits, reporting, and policy development related to pharmaceutical services.
* Ensuring compliance with PSI regulations and national healthcare standards.
* Engaging in ongoing professional development and supporting staff training.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
* A registered pharmacist license with the PSI.
* A minimum of five years' post-registration experience in a hospital or community setting.
* Strong administrative, managerial, and leadership skills.
* Proven ability to manage operations, budgets, and service improvements.
