Job Summary:
The IT Learning Specialist will oversee all staff training within the Firm and manage our client learning platform. This includes developing eLearning content, designing and delivering comprehensive systems training across practice areas.
Additionally, the role involves leading our Induction Programme for new joiners, ensuring they gain essential IT skills and a thorough understanding of our internal IT systems from day one.
The IT Learning Specialist must provide one-to-one coaching, offer tailored support to staff, and act as a trusted IT advisor to lawyers, empowering them with the knowledge needed to meet client demands effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Create eLearning content using Firm templates in Articulate Rise and Storyline.
* Manage the client learning platform hosted on Moodle.
* Track participation, engagement, and training effectiveness using reports, dashboards, and feedback forms.
* Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
* Assess and utilize eLearning modules for integration into IT training programmes.
* Design and deliver structured technical in-house training programmes, including Induction training and workshops tailored to employee needs.
* Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and e-learning modules.
* Provide ongoing support to colleagues, helping them troubleshoot IT issues and enhance software application understanding.
* Stay abreast of latest IT and systems technologies that benefit the Firm and improve client service delivery.
* Leverage digital tools and technology, including LMS, AI-driven learning, and interactive content, to enhance training delivery.
* Collaborate on innovation and technology projects, supporting adoption of new tools and processes within the firm.
Requirements
* Experience in delivering IT training in a corporate environment, both in-person and virtual.
* Knowledge of iManage document management system and other legal technology solutions.
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite.
* Experience with content creation in eLearning software, instructional design principles, and familiarity with Articulate Rise and Storyline (or similar software).
* Knowledge of Moodle management.
* Experience in analysing IT training needs of staff and developing learning solutions, focusing on technology-based learning systems.
* Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles.
* Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of training provided.
* Keep up to date on all IT systems used within the Firm.
* Strong interest in technology and innovation, contributing to tech-driven initiatives.
* Highly organised with strong planning skills and excellent attention to detail.
