We are seeking skilled Automation Technicians to join our multinational Client in Galway. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and repairing products, as well as maintaining equipment. You’ll work closely with both internal and external teams, often serving as a go-to expert in your area.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:
1. Schematic Analysis: Read and interpret schematic diagrams, circuit descriptions, and technical information.
2. Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair failed products and faulty components.
3. Quality Inspection: Inspect products to meet physical and visual quality standards.
4. Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and adjust test equipment and auxiliary devices.
5. Maintenance: Schedule and perform preventive maintenance, and manage equipment records and spare parts inventory.
6. Prototyping Support: Assist with testing, debugging, and modifying new product prototypes.
7. Technical Documentation: Work with Bills of Materials, Component Data, and Engineering Change Orders.
Requirements
8. Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience.
9. Engineering Foundations: Understanding of electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems.
10. Equipment Expertise: Proficient in the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
11. Mechanical & Electrical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, electronic circuitry, and debugging procedures.
12. Computer Skills: Proficient in relevant applications (., C++) and Microsoft Windows.
13. Quality Standards: Excellent understanding of industry quality standards and practices.
14. Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal teams.
