Auditing and Accounts Senior Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Auditing and Accounts Senior to join our team.
You will work closely with partners and senior managers on audit files, working with clients across various industries such as charities, hospitality, and pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage audit assignments across multiple sectors.
* Plan and execute audit tasks, ensuring the team is fully briefed on assignment-specific risks.
* Prepare high-quality financial statements and audit reports, including actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and control improvements.
* Effectively manage multiple audit assignments, optimising time and resources.
* Build strong working relationships with client personnel across departments to streamline audit processes.
* Keep Partners informed of any significant issues encountered during assignments.
* Deliver audit assignments to the highest standards, meeting all regulatory requirements and deadlines.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of risk, Irish GAAP, FRS 102, and CA 2014, with an understanding of current industry issues.
* Familiarity with audit strategies, Terms of Engagement, Irish and UK GAAP, FRS 102, and CA 2014.
* Experience working with clients across various sectors.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
