Corrib Oil (“Corrib”) was established as a family owned fuel distribution business back in 1987 and opened its first retail site in Westport in 1991. It has grown to be a leading purveyor of fuels, convenience foods and groceries throughout the west of Ireland, the midlands and more recently expanding into the South West and East of the country also. In addition Corrib has strong brand recognition throughout the western seaboard, midlands and south west providing a premier offering with a stable customer base and strong sales performance. Currently the company has 38 retail locations and 20 fuel depots nationwide.. Due to its continued expansion through acquisition and organic growth, Corrib Oil is now seeking to recruit a high calibre individual to augment the sales of its Fuel Card division.
Role Introduction: Corrib Oil is in a rapid growth phase and is seeking to recruit a Telesales Executive who will be responsible for growing the B2B Fuel Card customer base with new quality accounts whilst also maintaining business relationships. This role will form part of the newly formed Fuel Cards Team and reports directly to the Fuel Card Telesales Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to excel. The successful candidate will be a confident people person who can fit into Corrib Oil seamlessly and adopt a hands-on approach to their role. The role will be based in Corrib Oil’s Fuel Card office located inlocated in Pouladuff Road, Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
As Corrib Oil expands, the responsibilities may evolve and change over time but the core responsibilities will centre around the following areas:
* Win new business by generating new leads and business relationships
* Target marketing, prospecting & proactive enquiry generation
* Meet and/or exceed individual and team sales targets
* Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers and parties throughout the sales process
* Participate in potential weekly and/or monthly training opportunities and professional development
* Network locally and across the country
* Participate in grassroots marketing, utilize online resources and social media to promote the company, product awareness and develop opportunities
* Manage day-to-day administrative responsibilities associated with role
Qualifications, experience & skills
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, telesales, and/or account management
* Proven record of success in direct outbound sales, including a demonstrated ability to generate and qualify leads.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, online marketing, including social media outreach
* CRM proficiency experience an advantage
* Sales training is preferred but can be provided.
* A natural attitude towards providing excellent quality service
* Excellent telephone manner is essential
* Ability to develop positive business relationships to ‘close’ a sale
