Project Manager - Mayo
Your new company, a leading Lighting and EV charging specialist contractor in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure projects are delivered meeting safety, quality, and cost objectives of the business and clients.
* Analyse and report portfolio performance, including KPI monitoring, budgeting, cost control, risk management, client billing, cash flow, and rapid recovery as required.
* Implement business operating systems to improve efficiency throughout the organisation, specifically project management.
* Manage project tasks from sales order to QS & client team, maintaining client relationships, delivering scope through effective planning, scheduling, and resourcing.
The Person:
* Qualified Level 8 Degree in Project Management or Energy/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering.
* Strong technical understanding of the electrical construction/utility industry.
* Minimum 5 years Project Management experience delivering projects.
* Evidence of strong commercial acumen and client relationship management.
* Experience of applying lean principles to work activities.
* Strong organisational and time management skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying project goals and updates.
* Strong people skills.
* Excellent IT skills using Microsoft's suite of products, particularly Excel.
* Able to make ethical decisions in challenging situations.
* Familiarity with project management tools for streamlined planning, tracking, and reporting processes.
* Customer-oriented mindset to align project outcomes with client expectations.
* Flexibility to adapt to changes in project scope, schedules, and priorities.
