This position is eligible for the following benefits: sick leave and retirement.
Job Description: 1 position available per semester. Applicant will serve as a part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible trainer responsible for planning, coordinating, and teaching one Community Health Worker course of 100 classroom hours. Trainings will be offered online with three in-person sessions held on the Ohio University campus. There may be opportunities for renewal of this contract. Future semester locations will be determined.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, or related field or equivalent work experience. At least two years of experience in community health and/or social services practice.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching at the university and community level. Experience teaching adult learners. Certified as a Community Health Worker in the state of Ohio.
