ROLE PROFILE:
Responsible for undertaking pole installation and replacement in conjunction with the lines crew in a switch environment. Work as a team member and taking responsibility for health, safety and daily welfare.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Implementation of Energoinvest Reach Active safety rules
2. Complete daily Risk Assessment (PJSSP)
3. Record all plant and equipment checks
4. Compliance with all health, safety, quality and environment
5. Work with Lines Crew to ensure a safe working site
6. Ensure poling job packs are up to date, completed and signed off
7. Ensure works are always carried out in an efficient and diligent manner
8. Ensure all works are completed and comply with the quality standards
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures
10. Report all incidents near miss/good catch in line with the company reporting procedures
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
1. ESB Induction
2. ESB Certified in date Pole Erection 10/20kv
3. CSCS Machine Operative 180/360
4. ESB Certified in date Person In Charge of Poling (PICP)
5. CSCS Location of Underground Services
6. Full C Class Licence
7. Safe Pass
8. Ability to work in all types of weather
9. Ability to work in a Team
DESIRED:
1. Experience of operating Hiab and Truck mounted cranes
2. CSCS Sign Lighting and Guarding
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The role will require you to travel to sites across Ireland with occasional overnight stays, as and when required.
Due to the nature of our works, there may be a requirement for you to cover out of hours works i.e., weekends and on some occasion’s nights. Within reason, you must be willing to cover out of hours works.
