Job Overview
Maintaining and generating new distribution and volume by creating and leveraging relationships with regional accounts is a key mission.
Main Responsibilities:
* Complete a predetermined quantity of outlet visits per week aligned to client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Achieve a minimum quantity of visits to New Distribution Points aligned to client KPIs.
* Negotiate and maintain the increase of distribution for new and existing products aligned to the client KPIs.
* Contribute to other activities that generate a return on investment.
Compliance Requirements:
* Defend share of space by ensuring key Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) are available in chiller/Shelf/Display with the correct price displayed.
* Ensure maximum outlet awareness of all existing products and new product launches via Point of Sale, National and local activity.
Data Recording and Reporting:
* Record 100% accurate response data via the data recording tool.
* Provide weekly updates on wins with details and pictures to promote activity to the client.
* Report any issues to ensure speedy resolution of issues and timely data entry.
* Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) including the removal of closed sites and cleansing of data.
* Provide prompt and thorough feedback concerning supply, pricing, or availability of products.
* Complete weekly feedback as requested by manager.
Channel Insight:
* Provide insightful and actionable feedback on market intelligence/competitor activity.
* Stay up-to-date with trends, news, and information concerning the channel being worked in.
Profile Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess good communication and interpersonal skills, including rapport building, influencing, and negotiation. They should also have good organisational and planning skills, be analytical, able to interpret sales data, and self-motivated with a flexible and pro-active approach. Administration and organisational skills, IT literacy, and previous retail, food service, and/or FMCG sales experience are desirable but not essential. A full clean valid driving licence is required.
