Corporate Banking Relationship Manager | Permanent | Dublin
Our client is a leading international financial institution with a strong presence in Europe. Their core business focuses on commercial banking, including corporate banking and financial markets services. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to join their Corporate Banking team in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
1. Source and acquire new clients within the market and refer potential clients to other teams/business segments.
2. Meet revenue and quantitative targets such as account growth and fee income ratio.
3. Manage the end-to-end execution of transaction proposals, including origination, credit analysis, internal loan approval, and post-loan management.
4. Conduct commercial and credit analysis on potential opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative due diligence, financial analysis, and stress testing.
5. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive credit applications for internal approval.
6. Participate in meetings and conference calls with customers and market participants to facilitate due diligence and ongoing investment monitoring.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners and external market participants.
8. Perform proactive and ongoing portfolio monitoring, including timely reviews of financial and performance reports, as well as market trend analysis.
9. Support a high-performance culture with strong customer focus and compliance.
10. Play a key role in managing the existing loan book and overall loan portfolio from a credit and risk perspective, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by senior management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1. University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
2. At least 5 years of experience in corporate banking within an international financial institution.
3. 5+ years of experience in credit assessment and credit management ideally in cashflow lending.
4. Advanced report writing skills.
5. Proactive, structured, professional, and cooperative approach.
6. Familiarity with corporate banking workflows and previous sales experience.
7. Strong connections within the local banking network preferred.
8. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
9. Negotiation and risk management expertise.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
