Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Moulding Process Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Introduction of New Tools: Conduct tool trials at manufacturers and in-house, set up tools, perform qualification runs, and hand over to production.
* Tool Design and Debugging: Assist in the design and debugging of new systems, tooling, and automation.
* IQ, OQ, PQ Validation Reports: Complete validation reports for introduced processes.
* Experimental Process Development: Perform designed experiments to enhance processes, improve yields, and optimize equipment utilization.
* Customer and Supplier Liaison: Serve as a front-line liaison with customers, suppliers, and toolmakers.
* Moulding Process Systems: Manage setting sheets, process control, deviation tracking, and setting sheet control.
* Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot issues and support Team Leaders as required.
* Collaboration and Communication: Liaise daily with tool room, maintenance, production, and quality teams.
* Maintenance Programs: Develop and implement maintenance programs for moulding and ancillary equipment.
* Safety and Quality Initiatives: Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
* GMP Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all practices and recording of events and processes.
Requirements:
* Degree in Polymer or Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent: Possess a degree in polymer or mechanical engineering or equivalent field.
* High-Volume Moulding Experience: 3-5 years' experience in high-volume moulding environment.
* Cleanroom Procedures and Medical Moulding: Experience in cleanroom procedures and medical moulding.
* Process Setup and Validation: Familiarity with process setup and validation, including performing process window studies, IQ, OQ, PQ highly desirable.

* Communication and Organisation: Excellent organisation, communication, computer, and presentation skills.
* Troubleshooting and Leadership: Systematic troubleshooting skills and strong leadership of technical issue resolution.
* Lean Six Sigma: Lean Six Sigma skills an advantage.
* Microsoft Office and Project: Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project.
