Logistics Store Manager
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Logistics Store Manager to oversee our logistics and warehouse department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of inventory, including receiving, storage, and tracking.
* Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation.
* Maintain optimal stock levels by conducting regular stock takes and reordering as necessary.
* Implement and enforce safety procedures and best practices in the warehouse.
* Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Collaborate with other departments to improve overall logistics efficiency.
* Utilize warehouse management systems to track and report on inventory levels, order status, and performance metrics.
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a logistics or warehouse manager.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
* Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
