Sanderson are partnering with a Semi State organisation to recruit for a Property Solicitor on a one year contract, hybrid working in Wicklow.
As a Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for assisting with property transactions and general legal queries to support the implementation of the company's strategy.
Responsibilities: Transferring property ownership and rights in connection with property purchases and sales.
Preparing transactional documentation and undertaking title due diligence.
Drafting first registration applications and dealing with complex title issues.
Advising on a full range of other property title and conveyancing issues including boundary disputes, rights of way, turbary, and other burdens on the estate.
Liaising with the Title Researcher to ensure the records of the estate remain up to date.
Drafting and providing legal advice on commercial agreements/negotiations.
Maintaining accurate records and promoting an attitude of continual improvement to reduce complexity and allow our people to do their best work.
Liaising and proactively managing external legal advisers as required.
Promoting the adoption of best practice in legal affairs management.
Managing exposure to legal risk and promoting compliance.
Ensuring compliance with all internal governance.
Qualifications and Experience required Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in Property Law and Conveyancing essential Practical, hands-on attitude in dealing with a high volume of legal transactions and ability to work on own initiative.
Good aptitude in reading maps.
Excellent organisational, communication skills, and ICT skills, and the ability to use a legal case management system.
Experience in broader commercial matters desirable.
