Fabulous opportunity for a highly experienced Sous Chef with this top Dublin four star. This role assists in ensuring a top quality food offering and smooth daily operations in the kitchen. Key responsibilities within this role include
1. Kitchen management: rostering, purchasing, stock control, deliveries, HACCP/hygiene etc.
2. Understanding of all financial targets (GP, payroll, costs etc)
3. Team training and development
4. Collaboration with other hotels depts/managers as required
5. Ensure efficient, top quality food preparation and waste management
The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience as Sous Chef in a 4/5 star venue with fine dining and high-end/high-volume banqueting exposure.
In addition to excellent culinary skills, you will demonstrate solid kitchen management procedures, thorough HACCP knowledge and excellent teamwork/team leadership ability.
