About the Role:
The Senior Marketing Specialist will support the development of the strategy for Kerry's Food business in Europe, enabling the execution of this strategy. They will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver category expertise, strategic planning, and creative ways to sell Kerry's portfolio to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the Food category expert – drive and support positioning the team as category experts internally and externally
* Have a strong understanding of the category's past, present, and future trends
* Support providing critical customer, consumer, geography, and technology insights
* Collaborate with Insights teams and third-party data providers to close gaps in category understanding
* Identify gaps in current capability for future strengthening of the Food category value proposition
* Support Activation and Foodservice Marketing teams to develop a localized understanding of the Food category in prioritized markets
* Evaluate Kerry technologies in Europe based on robust category knowledge and collaborate with the Activation Marketing team on execution
* Work with Food Senior Marketing Manager and technology teams to ensure strategic alignment and European lens on all global activities
* Align marketing activities with the needs of the Food category and regional European strategy
* Ensure category expertise and knowledge transfer to Sales Teams for use in customer engagements
* Build stronger partnerships with selected Global Key Accounts and enable growth aligned with strategic account plans
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, business or related field (essential)
* Curious, analytical, and insight-led thinking
* Experience in B2B or food ingredient industry within strategic planning or insights role (advantageous)
* Fundamentals of Marketing, Research and Activation, Consumer Insights, Data Analysis, and Interpretation
* Excellent communications skills and ability to share information with stakeholders
* Ability to grasp new concepts, ideas, technologies, markets, tools, and ways of working
* Enthusiastic attitude towards interacting with multiple functions and serving on a multi-national, multi-functional team
* Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, including managing stakeholders
* Able to apply quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies, interpret findings, and present results clearly
* Possess creativity in preparing and hosting successful client meetings
* Passion for engaging across the business, building partnerships based on trust and integrity
* Ability to manage complex priorities within demanding timeframes
