Job Description:
As a Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of various commodities across multiple European manufacturing sites. This role requires strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills to ensure supplier qualification and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute detailed commodity strategies, including spend segmentation, market analysis, and supply chain optimization.
* Capture commodity requirements from internal stakeholders and ensure timely execution of sourcing projects.
* Negotiate and select suppliers, managing contract lifecycles and compliance.
* Deliver commodity productivity through price and value analysis, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring continuity of supply and mitigating risk.
Qualifications:
* Strong business acumen and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management
* Familiarity with sourcing software and tools
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
