Key Accountabilities:
As a Credit Admin Assistant, you will assist in updating the debt ledger for the company and liaise with various departments within the business whilst reporting directly to the credit assistant manager. You will assist in monitoring the ledger accuracy, facilitate the processing of payments, invoices, and credits, update customer portals, and run various reports as the business demands while promoting a positive working environment with your peers.
Using a professional and proactive attitude, you will be responsible for ensuring customer accounts are up to date with clear and concise guidance and support, encouraging productivity and ensuring that targets and deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for customer queries and identifying key issues requiring strong analytical and numerical skills. You will work closely with front office departments including sales and pricing teams. An ability to build strong working relationships is a must.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure customer accounts are maintained to the highest standard
* Effective and efficient communication with customers and peers
* Apply funds with accuracy
* Liaise with cross-functional departments across the business
* Assist colleagues with various business demands
* Prepare daily/monthly/quarterly reports
* Represent the company as required
* Train new employees on the department’s SLA’s
* Update and maintain customer portals
You will be accountable for:
* Maintenance of the email management system
* Updating customer ledgers to ensure operational efficiency
* Maintaining a high level of performance in conjunction with department KPIs
* Handling customer queries through phone and email
* Ensuring that all customer records are properly maintained
* Ensuring relevant transactions are processed on a daily basis
* Ensuring accurate document processing and policy information
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years accounts receivable/payable experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Full class B driver’s license and flexibility to travel
