The Role: CJ SHEERAN is Ireland’s largest manufacturer and recycler of timber packaging and pallets, providing a premium quality, sustainable and accredited packaging solution to Ireland and the UK’s diverse network of pallet consumers.
We now have an opening for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our busy Logistics Division.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The position will be primarily based in our Central Logistics Office in Mountrath, Co. Laois. Duties will include:
1. Development and interpretation of Master Data
2. Trend analysis with direct and targeted resolution of downward trends
3. Customer specific reporting and portal uploads
4. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of key metrics to relevant stakeholders including customers
5. Identifying, initiating and executing process improvements
6. Active involvement in implementation of new projects
7. Effective interface with colleagues to ensure timely reporting and a cohesive approach towards maximising business performance and efficiencies
8. Support to Logistics Division as required
Skills and Experience:
1. Primary Qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Sales related discipline desirable
2. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
3. Very strong in MS Excel
4. Disciplined in execution of plans and schedules
5. Strong commercial awareness of business dynamics
6. An excellent team player with strong customer service skills
7. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
8. Proficient in MS Office and experience in Sage Line50 advantageous
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
10. Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills
