Salary: 40,000 - £80,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is Dublin based HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across Ireland. They provide high-quality services to patients in Ireland, including neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for children.
The Role: This is an exciting and valuable role within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to families and children. This is a hybrid role for suitably qualified clinicians working within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for children referred for autism and/or ADHD assessments.
The role requires conducting comprehensive specialist assessments including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD using established diagnostic tools.
Assessments of mental health conditions may also be required.
The clinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions.
Qualifications:
1. CORU registered Occupational Therapist.
2. Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
3. Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/ specialist developmental assessments with children and young people.
4. Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting.
5. Knowledge of appropriate assessment tools for autism and ADHD.
6. Knowledge of differential diagnosis.
7. Ideally ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
10. Experience in report writing and record keeping.
11. Additional qualifications in relevant areas of autism and/ or ADHD.
