Job Title: Test Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Technician to join our team at our medical device manufacturing facility in North Dublin.
Role Overview
* Setting up and testing systems and sub-assemblies against test specifications, ensuring they meet all the required criteria.
* Performing inspection operations on sub-assemblies, modules, and systems using engineering drawings, schematics, flow diagrams, specifications, and methodologies.
* Preparing samples, reagents, and diluents for chemical testing of systems and modules.
* Using theoretical knowledge and practical experience to establish causes of malfunction and non-conformance in electrical, hydraulic, and chemical operation of systems and modules with minimal loss of test time.
* Checking each system against branch orders to ensure customers receive correct systems, including type, sequence, and peripherals if required.
* Assisting Engineering in initial installation and verification of new test procedures, equipment, and products.
* Contributing to the design of test fixtures and modules inspection/test procedures, as well as preliminary system test/inspection procedures.
* Maintaining accurate quality control records by completing and updating necessary paperwork, test data, and other documentation.
* Overseeing and checking repair work to ensure faults are corrected and conform to specifications.
* Collaborating with Quality Control procedures related to material flow, handling, processing defective material, acceptance and rejection, ECN monitoring, concessions, and more.
Requirements
* Third-level qualification (Engineering Degree/Diploma or QQI Level 6 Certificate in Engineering).
* Experience in a medical device or electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
* Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, and SAP.
