The ideal candidate must be a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently delivers the highest-quality work. They must have excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. ResponsibilitiesProject Management:
Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.Schedule and lead project meetings, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and any changes.Manage communication and collaboration between internal teams (creative, strategy, account management) and external vendors (freelance, talent, suppliers etc.).Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Agency Operations:
Identify opportunities for operational improvements.Pinpointing inefficiencies or bottlenecks in existing workflows and suggesting improvements to streamline processes.Introducing and implementing industry best practices to enhance the agency's production capabilities and efficiency.Exploring and advocating for the adoption of new technologies or software that can improve agency operations.Manage and lead agency resourcing weekly WIP's.Management and ownership of Agency process management software – WrikeBudget Management:
Develop accurate and realistic budgets for production projects.Track and manage expenses throughout the project lifecycle.Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive rates.Reconcile project costs and provide financial reporting.Source, select, and manage external vendors, including freelancers, production companies, and post-production houses.Negotiate contracts and ensure all agreements are in place.Oversee vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.Client Communication:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client concerns.Manage client expectations and ensure their satisfaction with the final output.Work closely with internal teams, particularly the creative department to ensure seamless project execution.Provide clear direction and support to team members.Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.Manage and mentor a production coordinator providing guidance and support.Skill, Knowledge & ExperienceProven experience as a Producer in an agency setting (5 years - specify desired experience level).Strong understanding of the production process across various media (video and digital).Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong budgeting and financial management skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficient in relevant software such a project management and resource trafficking tools.
