Fintech Company is seeking an experienced HR and ER Consultant with Irish Law knowledge and global experience for a project role.
The HR/ER Consultant provides guidance on employment matters, including performance management, employment legislation, policy interpretation, and corrective action. They also investigate employee grievances and advise on employment relations conflicts.
Core Duties:
* Provides coaching and advice to managers on performance management and corrective action.
* Provides jurisdictionally appropriate legal advice on employment legislation and handles involuntary employee terminations and restructuring.
* Conducts investigations and advises on employee complaints and grievances.
* Provides specialist expertise and leadership in a dedicated area, such as country-specific or functional areas.

Prerequisite Knowledge & Proficiencies:
* Comprehensive knowledge of Irish employment legislation, its interpretation, and implementation.
* Broad HR generalist knowledge to independently mitigate business, reputational, and financial risk.
* Skilled in coaching and developing manager capabilities.
* Effective listening, probing, and investigatory skills to handle complex enquiries and conversations.
* Strong analytical mind-set and trouble-shooting abilities.
* Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, global organization and build strong relationships with remote client groups and colleagues.
* Ability to deliver high levels of performance and service excellence while managing high volume workloads.
* Fluency in English; fluency or business-level standard in another European language is an advantage.
Experience:
* 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources in a global organization.
* 5+ years of experience in Employee Relations, with specialist jurisdictional or functional expertise preferred.
* Experience working with remote teams preferred.
Education:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
