About the role:
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join the People Team at Flogas.
Reporting to the Director of People and Change, this role will provide business partnering support to the Energy Team. This is an excellent opportunity to add value and support the success of a key business project within the Energy Division. You will partner with the Project Director and other key stakeholders to deliver HR initiatives that support business goals and objectives. Working as part of the core People Team, you will develop close and effective working relationships with the key stakeholders and ensure people-related activities are aligned with the Flogas People Strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Project Related
1. Identify the specific HR-related needs of project Connect, including resourcing, performance management, reward and recognition.
2. Act as a single point of contact for the project team for all HR-related matters.
3. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Project Director, managers, and team members.
4. Work with the project team to define roles/responsibilities, contributing to role mapping and role design.
5. Ensure the project's HR activities align with the overall People strategy.
6. Identify and address any HR-related challenges or risks to the project. Proactively support resolution.
7. Actively promote and support the team's wellbeing.
8. Ensure alignment between HR processes and project milestones.
9. Collaborate with other departments (such as IT, Finance, and Operations) to ensure smooth project execution.
10. Establish and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR processes affected by the ERP project.
11. Encourage open and transparent communication across team members.
12. Supported by the L&D Manager, assess and develop capability and competency of the project team. Ensure development plans are in place.
General Activities
1. Advise line managers regarding issues related to the management of performance, probations, or absenteeism.
2. Ensure People Strategy initiatives are delivered.
3. Coach, support, and offer guidance to all stakeholders on the application of HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
4. Work with key stakeholders and the central Talent Acquisition team to ensure resourcing needs are met.
5. Advise and support on employee relations and employee welfare issues.
6. Share and communicate updates, challenges, and progress with the core People Team.
7. Drive employee engagement in the team, identifying appropriate initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an HR Advisor or Business Partner role, with expertise in onboarding and employee engagement. They are a dynamic and collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This individual possesses strong organizational and multitasking abilities, along with a proven track record in Talent Development, Employee Relations, Diversity and Inclusion, and Change Management. A relevant HR degree is required, and CIPD membership is desirable. Knowledge of ROI/NI employment law is essential.
