Role Description:
The successful candidate will achieve sales and market share objectives by selling and demonstrating a range of surgical ortho devices to a large customer base of hospitals across the territory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships
2. Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis
3. Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial inquiries
4. Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility
5. Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential
6. Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs, and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace
7. Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
8. Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings
About the Role:
This role is ideal for an experienced orthopaedic sales specialist looking to make a move within the industry. The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of in-theatre surgical sales experience and be comfortable communicating complex clinical information to consultant level surgeons.
Products and Customers:
The role will involve working with a range of orthopaedic products used in a theatre/surgical environment, primarily with orthopaedic surgeons, theatre staff, and procurement teams across the Dublin/Leinster territory.
Requirements:
* 2-5 years hospital sales experience (orthopaedic surgical sales)
* Full clean driving license
* Nursing (RGN) or medical background (desirable)
* Specific experience with surgical orthopaedic products essential
