Elis Textile Services Limited is looking for a full-time Production Supervisor for our site in Ballymount, Dublin 12.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the production facility runs efficiently. The Production Supervisor will support the Production Manager in delivering the Business and Customer requirements in full and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Team leaders to ensure all objectives of their departments/areas are met.
2. Send daily production reports.
3. Monitor Machine/Operator performance against the targets set. Liaise with staff/maintenance if targets are not met and address the issues.
4. Manage and motivate production operators in all areas ensuring targets are met/exceeded.
5. Record the hourly output figures and other machine data on the sheets provided.
6. Process weekly payroll for staff. Monitor attendance levels and address any issues.
7. Ensure staff training cards are up to date and carry out relevant training/refresher training as required.
8. Liaise with Despatch, Distribution, and In-check departments to determine the product lines required and schedule work/plan accordingly.
9. Manage staff and break times to ensure lines are covered and relevant machinery is kept running to meet orders/deadlines.
10. Be proactive on Health and Safety and in identifying and reporting Safety Observations and Near Misses.
11. Handle grievances and investigations with the HR Department as requested.
12. Ensure the facility standards and housekeeping are kept to Audit standards at all times. All relevant paperwork to be kept up to date.

1. Experience in Production Environment and Quality Systems.

3. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks as required.
4. Good problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels in the business.
Working Hours:
39 hours per week
€16.77 per hour (€34,000 per year)
