About the role :
Reporting directly to the P2 Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Process Development Engineer (packaging) will:
1. Lead new packaging product introductions to P2 at TILGC.
2. Be a subject matter expert (SME) for packaging equipment and packaging systems.
3. Support secondary packaging operations at P2 TILGC.
Fully onsite work mode.
How you will contribute :
4. New Product Introductions
5. Lead Feasibility assessments for new packaging formats and new equipment.
6. Technical Review of Artwork and Packaging.
7. Lead optimisation and process validation studies.
8. Parameter optimisation for vision systems, equipment and serialisation systems.
9. Understand regulatory requirements & communicate them to the project teams.
10. Lead Capital Projects for equipment introduction.
Packaging SME
11. Lead Root Cause Analysis for Packaging Processes
12. Experience controlling change controls on Trackwise.
13. Experience of Packaging Equipment and of Vision Systems
14. Liaise with QC, QA, CAPEX Team, Logistics, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to ensure adherence to schedule and efficient troubleshooting.
15. Provide technical direction to manufacturing personnel i.e.to ensure that the manufacturing ancillary facilities can be operated to optimum efficiency to ensure that 'order turnovers' are performed.
16. Participate in problem identification, and change plans in cooperation with other teams and services. An 'Agile Mindset' with improvement is a core activity.
17. Investigate quality events as they arise and prepare deviation reports using site Trackwise system.
18. Complete required documentation relating to development and manufacturing activities in an accurate way.

28. Foster, in cooperation with other TIL staff, an ethos of continuous improvement where CI is accepted as an important part of the business.
29. Ensure completion of all SOP, reading, training and assessment.
30. Other tasks directed by the Manager, Finance or other Officer appointed by the Board of Directors.
What you bring to Takeda :
31. 3rd Level Degree in Engineering or other relevant courses.
32. Minimum 3 years experience in Pharma Manufacturing
33. Experience of Secondary Packaging systems.
34. Experience of Primary Packaging Systems beneficial.
35. Experience of Vision Systems beneficial.
36. Experience of Serialisation Systems beneficial.
37. Excellent planning, scheduling and prioritisation ability.
38. Excellent documentation skills.
39. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products and systems skills.
40. Manage conflicting tasks at the same time to achieve organisational goals.
