Job Title: Mobile Breakdown Truck Tyre Fitter
Reports to: Supervisor/Manager
Job Summary:
The Mobile Breakdown Truck Tyre Fitter is responsible to respond to customer breakdowns in the Leitrim and surrounding area. A company van is fully kitted to assist with breakdowns in Athlone/Galway and surrounding area.
Key Tasks Required:
1. Repairing and replacing customer's Truck tyres as needed
2. Replacing wheels using the torque wrench to achieve final tightening of wheel nuts
3. Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
4. Recording all relevant details in the breakdown book
5. Using materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner
6. Full compliance with all safety procedures/truck operations essential safety steps
7. Ensuring own vehicle is kept clean, with adequate stock and is serviced when necessary
8. Adhering fully to the Company's operations manual
9. Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
10. Understand and adhere to all the Company policies and procedures/operations manual
11. Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
12. Must have some level of truck tire experience
