Senior Process Development Engineer (Powder Blending & Sampling)
We are looking for a Senior Process Development Engineer within the Medical Devices sector in Tipperary, Ireland. This is a contract/freelance role with a focus on advancing technologies in powder blending and sampling associated with 3D printing and metal additive manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in process development engineering and a deep understanding of CAD systems, as well as IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and optimization of powder blending techniques for medical device applications.
Implement and oversee powder sampling procedures to ensure product quality and compliance.
Utilize CAD tools to design and simulate processes related to metal additive manufacturing.
Execute installation, operational, and performance qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new processes.
Required Skills:
Process Development Engineering: Extensive experience in process analysis and development within the manufacturing sector, particularly relating to medical devices.
3D Printing: Hands-on skills in utilizing 3D printing techniques for prototyping and production in metal additive manufacturing.
Metal Additive Manufacturing: In-depth knowledge of integrating CAD designs into practical metal fabrication processes.
CAD: Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design software for creating detailed engineering plans relevant to manufacturing setups.
Powder Blending: Expertise in powder blending methodologies specific to medical grade materials.
