Opportunity for a Director level Accountant to join a growing, medium-sized accountancy firm in Dublin, providing audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse client base, including SMEs and multinational corporations.
Role Overview:
My Client is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Director to lead their audit and accounting department, drive business growth, and provide strategic direction. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audits and financial reporting, and developing the team’s capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the audit and accounts team to ensure quality service delivery.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic financial advice.
* Oversee audit assignments, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
* Drive business development and identify new growth opportunities.
* Monitor departmental performance and manage resources effectively.
* Represent the firm in external forums and industry events.
Qualifications and Experience:
* ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
* 5-10 years PQE in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS, and Irish GAAP.
* Proven client management skills and experience leading teams.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
